The SVE SS-MST83-HK is a short-throw shifter engineered to provide a more responsive and comfortable driving experience by significantly reducing shift throw time by 40% to 55%. This upgrade minimizes the time your hand spends on the shifter, allowing for quicker gear selection. Constructed from premium T-6061 aluminum with a polished chrome finish, this shifter offers durability and a sleek appearance. It features a thread size of 1/2 Inch and 14NPT and is designed as a direct-fit replacement for the factory unit, reusing the stock shift knob. Installation is straightforward, requiring basic hand tools and approximately 30 minutes. This short-throw shifter is compatible with T-5 and T-45 manual transmissions. It is specifically designed to fit 1983-2001 Ford Mustang GT, 1983-2004 Ford Mustang V6, and 1996-1999 Ford Mustang Cobra vehicles. The product comes with a ninety-day to one-year warranty covering manufacturer defects in materials and craftsmanship.
