The Billetworkz Short Shifter is a performance upgrade designed for the 2022+ Subaru BRZ and Toyota GR86. It features a 30% reduction in shifter throw for quicker and more precise gear changes. The shifter rod is constructed from durable 304 stainless steel, and the reverse lockout is CNC machined from 6061 aluminum with an anodized finish for enhanced aesthetics and longevity. O-rings are included in the reverse lockout to minimize rattle.

The Billetworkz Short Shifter is engineered to enhance the driving experience in the 2022 and newer Subaru BRZ and Toyota GR86 models. The core components are built for durability and performance: the shifter rod is made from robust 304 stainless steel, while the reverse lockout mechanism is precision CNC machined from 6061 aluminum and finished with an anodized coating for a vibrant and lasting appearance. To further improve the feel and eliminate unwanted noise, Billetworkz includes o-rings within the reverse lockout assembly to prevent rattling. An optional install kit is available, which includes necessary bushings and a metal plate, to simplify the installation process by eliminating the need to transfer parts from the OEM shifter. This shifter is specifically designed for the 2022+ Subaru BRZ and Toyota GR86 models. Installation is straightforward, with stainless steel hardware included. For optimal performance and noise reduction, the included o-rings in the reverse lockout assembly should be lubricated, with 3-in-1 oil recommended.
