It features solid mounting to the transmission via billet strut arms and a solid linkage rod for a true “top loader” feel. This shifter is specifically designed for MT82-equipped Mustangs, offering up to a 30% reduction in shift throws. This shifter is available in Standard and X-SPEC models. The X-SPEC model provides an even more drastic throw reduction for those seeking the shortest possible shift length. An optional Low Profile handle can be used with either shifter model for further throw reduction, though the knob adapter and stock knob are not compatible with the low-profile handle.
