The MGW short throw shifter is a precision-engineered performance upgrade designed specifically for 2005-2010 Mustang GT (3650 transmission) and V6 (T5 transmission) models. This unit features a unique, patented adjustment system that allows the driver to tune the shift throw from slightly shorter than OEM to a 50% reduction. It is constructed from aircraft-grade aluminum and stainless steel, ensuring durability and a more solid feel than the factory assembly. The shifter assembly is designed to eliminate the common 3rd gear lockout issue found in the S197 Mustang's remote shifter design by utilizing strong lateral spring loading. The kit comes complete with sound and thermal deflection technology, replacement transmission linkage bushings, and stainless steel bushings for the front support to ensure quiet operation without the need for noisy polyurethane components. Installation requires the included components and comes with a video installation CD for reference. Please note that this product does not fit 2011 models. It is built to order and typically ships within 2-7 days.
