The MGW Shifter is a premium aftermarket short-throw shifter engineered for C5, C6, and C7 Corvettes. It is meticulously crafted from aircraft-grade aluminum with all billet components hard coat anodized for exceptional durability and a lifetime of service. Complementing the aluminum is aircraft-grade stainless steel for the structural components. It eliminates the common issues of vague or difficult shifts, such as hard pulling left to right for reverse and first gear, while ensuring a positive return for finding third gear. The design incorporates an integral dust and noise boot to maintain cleanliness and minimize transmission noise. Furthermore, the shifter assembly is entirely new, with no reused OEM components, ensuring peak performance and longevity. It comes complete with all necessary hardware and is compatible with stock C5, C6, and C7 shift knobs, or it can be used with MGW knobs via a 9/16-18 threaded shaft. Installation is facilitated by comprehensive, high-definition videos available on MGW's YouTube channel, covering C5, C6, and C7 specific steps, including console removal and shifter alignment.
