The Pro 5.0 shifter is a short-throw shifter designed for T5 and T45 transmissions in 1983-2001 Ford Mustangs. It features an exclusive off-set shift mechanism built to make 2nd to 3rd gear transitions quick and easy.

The unit is constructed from a heavy-duty billet aluminum base with a high-strength steel gear selector, handle, and stop ring. It also includes adjustable front and rear stops to help protect the transmission during gear changes.

The Pro 5.0 shifter serves as a direct-fit upgrade for 1983-2001 Ford Mustangs equipped with T5 or T45 transmissions. By utilizing a patented, exclusive off-set shift mechanism, this component is engineered to improve shift precision and facilitate faster, smoother 2nd to 3rd gear changes while reducing the risk of missed gears. Built for durability, the assembly features a CNC-machined billet aluminum base paired with a high-strength steel gear selector, handle, and stop ring. This heavy-duty construction eliminates weak casting points found in factory components. Proper adjustment of the integrated stop bolts is required during installation to ensure correct gear engagement and protect transmission internals.
