The Billetworkz Short Throw Shifter Kit is engineered to deliver crisp, ultra-short, and efficient shifts for your Subaru WRX (2015–2025) and Crosstrek (2018+). This comprehensive kit bundles four key components to significantly upgrade your driving experience. The kit includes a Short Throw Shifter, Shifter Stop, Shifter Plate, and Shifter Bushing. The Short Throw Shifter itself reduces shift throw by 55%, offering the shortest throws available for these models. The Reverse Lockout is CNC-machined from 6061 aluminum with a durable, vibrant anodized finish, while the Shifter Rod is precision-machined from 304 stainless steel and includes stainless hardware and O-rings to eliminate rattle. Further enhancing the system, the Shifter Stop precisely limits lateral movement in 1st and 2nd gear, eliminating excess play for crisp, direct gear engagement. The Shifter Plate replaces the OEM unit with a billet upgrade that repositions pivot points to reduce throw and adds a slight weight (935g) to improve feel. Finally, the Shifter Bushing replaces the stock rubber component with a solid brass unit, removing slop and providing a firmer, more responsive feel. This kit will not fit STI models.
