The Billetworkz Short Throw Shifter Kit is a complete package engineered for crisp, ultra-short, and efficient shifts in your Subaru WRX 2015–2025 and Crosstrek 2018+. This kit reduces shift throw by 55% and includes a Short Throw Shifter, Shifter Stop, Shifter Plate, and Shifter Bushing.

The Short Throw Shifter features a CNC-machined 6061 aluminum reverse lockout and a 304 stainless steel shifter rod, designed to eliminate hand interference with the e-brake. The Shifter Stop eliminates lateral play, while the Shifter Plate repositions pivot points to reduce throw. A solid brass Shifter Bushing replaces the stock rubber unit for a firmer, more responsive feel.

The Billetworkz Short Throw Shifter Kit is designed to significantly upgrade the shifting experience in your Subaru WRX (2015-2025) and Crosstrek (2018+). This comprehensive kit aims to provide crisp, ultra-short, and efficient gear changes by reducing the shift throw by a substantial 55%. The Short Throw Shifter features a CNC-machined 6061 aluminum reverse lockout with anodized finishes for vibrant looks and durability, paired with a precision-machined 304 stainless steel shifter rod. The accompanying Shifter Stop precisely limits lateral movement in first and second gears, ensuring crisp engagement. A billet Shifter Plate replaces the OEM part, repositioning pivot points to further reduce throw, and it's designed to be slightly heavier than stock (935g) for an improved feel. Finally, the solid brass Shifter Bushing replaces the factory rubber unit, removing slop and providing a firmer, more responsive connection. The kit retains the factory reverse-lockout function and OEM safety mechanisms for reliability. This performance-driven package offers a smoother, low-friction operation and more confident gear positioning, transforming the long, vague factory throw into a tighter, more performance-focused experience. It is important to note that this kit **will not fit STI models**. Lubrication of the hardware and O-rings is recommended, with silicone O-ring grease being the preferred choice to eliminate rattle.
