The BilletWorkz Short Throw Shifter Kit is engineered to significantly enhance the driving experience in 2015 and newer Subaru WRX models. This kit is designed to reduce shifter throw by 55%, offering quicker and more precise shifts suitable for both daily drivers and track-focused vehicles. It also provides a more ergonomic feel, preventing interference with the e-brake handle when shifting into second gear. The kit includes essential components for a complete upgrade: a shifter stop, a direct-replacement shifter plate, a new shifter bushing, and O-rings on the reverse lockout assembly to eliminate any potential rattling. BilletWorkz recommends lubricating the O-rings with 3-in-1 oil prior to installation for optimal performance and longevity. This shifter kit is specifically designed to fit 2015+ WRX models, including those with the STI short throw mechanism. However, it is crucial to note that this kit will NOT fit STI models.
