This HPS Performance 827 Series air intake kit (Part # 827-694) features a free-flowing 2-3/4 inch mandrel-bent aluminum tube induction system. It is designed to produce dyno-proven performance gains, including an increase of +5 horsepower and +4.7 ft/lbs of torque, while improving throttle response and maintaining a safe air-fuel ratio. The kit includes a heavy-duty powder-coated steel heat shield that integrates with the factory fresh air scoop to direct cold air to the air filter for optimal cooling. Installation does not require tuning and will not trigger a CEL light. No modification is required during installation. The lightweight mandrel-bent aluminum alloy tube replaces the restrictive stock air box, optimizing airflow with excellent heat dissipation and long-lasting durability. It is built with race-proven high-temperature reinforced silicone hoses and industrial-grade 100% stainless steel t-bolt clamps for ultimate reliability.
