Shortram Air Intake Kit

The HPS Performance Shortram Air Intake Kit (Part # 827-684) is engineered as an essential performance upgrade for 5th/6th Gen Subaru Impreza models with the 2.0L Non Turbo engine (FB20D, GK/GT/GU) from 2017 to 2026. This kit features a 2-3/4 inch mandrel-bent aluminum intake tube that replaces the factory restrictive air box, optimizing airflow for better heat dissipation and durability. A powder-coated steel heat shield is included to block hot air from the engine bay, providing a significant cooling effect. The HPS Shortram Cold Air Intake Kit is designed to deliver dyno-proven performance gains, increasing horsepower by +9 whp and torque by +9 ft/lbs, while also improving throttle response. The system maintains a safe air/fuel ratio and does not require tuning or trigger a CEL (Check Engine Light). Included in the kit are the aluminum intake tube, steel heat shield, a washable and reusable HPS Performance Air Filter, stainless steel t-bolt clamps, high-temperature reinforced silicone couplers, mounting hardware, and digital installation instructions. The product is made in the United States. However, it is important to note that this product is not CARB exempt and is not legal for sale or use in California or on any pollution-controlled motor vehicle.
