The Hooker Headers 2466HKR Competition Header is constructed from robust 16-gauge steel, featuring 5/16-inch thick flanges designed to provide a durable and effective seal for each exhaust port. The primary tubes measure 1 5/8 inches in diameter and are mandrel-bent to ensure consistent tube diameter throughout the bends, which helps to increase performance. This header set includes the necessary bolts and gaskets for installation and is sold as a pair. This header is designed to fit specific Chevrolet models from 1964 to 1974, including various Bel Air, Biscayne, Brookwood, Camaro, Caprice, and Chevelle submodels with compatible engine sizes (e.g., 5.7L, 6.6L). However, it "Will not fit heavy-duty models." Further compatibility exclusions apply: this header "Does not fit with angle plug heads or raised port heads" and "Will not work with close ratio steering boxes." Installation may also "require air conditioning bracket #10925HKR." Additionally, the instructions caution that "Breaking in an engine with ceramic coated headers WILL result in damage to the coating and will VOID all warranties."
