Shorty Headers for Small Block Chevy

The Hedman Hedders 69520 Street Headers are engineered for Small Block Chevy (Gen 1, 283-400 cid) engine swaps into 2WD 1982-2004 Chevrolet S10/Blazer and GMC S15/Jimmy trucks. Constructed from 18-gauge mild steel with CNC mandrel-bent tubes, these headers are hand-welded for consistency and durability. They feature 1.5-inch primary tubes and a 2.5-inch collector. The unique gasketless ball and socket collector design simplifies exhaust system alignment and reduces the potential for leaks. The headers ship with a temporary black paint coating that will burn off under normal operating temperatures; optional silver or black ceramic-metallic finishes are available for enhanced protection and aesthetics. Installation hardware, including header flange bolts and collector bolts, along with a pair of gaskets, are included. A gasket for the collector is not required due to the ball and socket design. For optimal installation, the use of a Trans-Dapt Performance Product's #9906 engine swap mount kit is recommended.
