Key specifications include a 4.000" bore, a 9.025" deck height, and 350 main journals that accept commonly available crankshafts. The SHP Pro is further enhanced with billet steel main caps and ARP main studs for increased strength and stability, making it suitable for builds utilizing higher spring pressures and higher RPM ranges. It also features a big block Chevy cam bore and larger .904" lifter bores. This engine block is compatible with most OEM parts, simplifying integration into existing setups.
