SI Drive Auto Kit Type 1

The Syms Racing SI Drive Auto Kit Type 1 is an electronic control unit designed to automate the functionality of your Subaru's SI Drive system. This kit intelligently manages the transition between I mode (fuel economy) and S mode (sport acceleration) by monitoring your accelerator pedal position. When you need to accelerate, such as during highway merging, the kit automatically engages S mode. Once you ease off the accelerator and the vehicle returns to a cruising state, it reverts to I mode to optimize fuel efficiency. Key features of this kit include adjustable settings for the accelerator opening percentage that triggers the switch from I to S mode, and adjustable parameters for the accelerator opening and time duration required to return from S mode to I mode. The S Mode Memory function allows the system to retain the S mode setting even after the engine is restarted, providing convenience for drivers who frequently use sport mode. The original SI Drive switch remains functional after installation, and the vehicle's ECU is not altered, ensuring safety. This kit is not compatible with vehicles equipped with the 'S#' mode.
