The Eurojet EJ402-M10-05-00 is a side-mount intercooler designed for the MK4 VW platform. It features a bar and plate core with cast aluminum end tanks and proprietary staggered internal fins for efficient cooling. This intercooler is designed to fit in the stock location and is suitable for stock, chipped, K04 turbo upgrades, and mild custom turbo setups.

The Eurojet EJ402-M10-05-00 is an upgraded side-mount intercooler engineered for aggressive and efficient performance on MK4 VW models. The proprietary staggered and louvered internal fin design further enhances heat exchange capabilities, making it a solid upgrade for your turbo system. Constructed from T5052 and 6061 aluminum, this intercooler is built to perform. It features TIG-welded tanks and comes with custom 5-ply silicone hoses and stainless steel T-bolt clamps. The end tanks are cast and polished, and the unit includes CNC-machined flanges for MAP sensor, diverter valve, and N75 (though N75 and DV flanges are only included on street and race kits, not specified for this particular model based on general description). This side-mount intercooler is designed to fit in the original stock location, making it a perfect blend of performance and cost savings for chipped K03s, K04s, and GT28 equipped motors. It is recommended for applications up to approximately 300-330 hp. For vehicles built in 2001 and earlier, a minor modification may be required during installation.
