Description

The Reese Sidewinder is designed for short-bed pickup trucks towing fifth-wheel trailers. It replaces the standard trailer pin box, enabling 90-degree+ turns without exiting the truck. A king pin locking mechanism shifts the pivot point 22 inches rearward, keeping the load centered over the axles and preventing truck-trailer contact during jackknifing. This design improves steering response for easier backing and allows hitching at various angles. Its C-channel construction provides superior stability and strength for higher load capacities.
