Description

The REESE Sidewinder pin box is a premium towing solution specifically designed for short bed truck owners. Its patented design eliminates issues with turning and clearance when towing with a shorter pickup, allowing for up to 90-plus degree turns without leaving the truck cab. The Sidewinder connects to your trailer and works by locking the trailer king pin to the fifth wheel hitch, moving the pivot point of the trailer 22 inches rearward for increased turning clearance. This system tracks automatically, allowing for tighter turns when towing forward or moving in reverse, keeping the load centered over the axles, and eliminating the need for a fifth wheel slider system.
