The SSP Sidewinder Stage 1 Clutch is engineered to elevate the performance of the 2008-2015 Mitsubishi Lancer EVO X MR, offering a significant upgrade over stock configurations. This 8-plate clutch system is designed to handle up to 500 ft/lbs of torque, making it suitable for builds demanding higher power output while maintaining reliable engagement. Constructed with SSP's Heavy Duty Directional Friction Design, this clutch ensures optimal engagement and heat dissipation. The package includes a comprehensive set of components: four small and four large SSP HD friction plates, ten precision-ground and heat-treated SSP HD steel plates, and two heavy-duty spring steel retaining clips. This exact OE fitment ensures a direct replacement for the factory clutch. This clutch system aims to provide incredibly firm shifting characteristics, enhancing the driving experience and control without compromising everyday drivability.
