Sidewinder Stage 2 11-Plate DSG Clutch Kit

The SSP Performance Sidewinder Stage 2 clutch is a new high-performance option designed specifically for the DSG 02E transmission, offering a robust 600 ft-lbs torque rating. This 11-plate clutch utilizes a unique directional design, which is the first of its kind for the VW/Audi DSG platform, enabling it to handle higher torque loads. The advanced directional material and design provide 20% more clutch frictional surface area, facilitating quicker fluid dissipation. This enhanced fluid movement over the clutch plates results in a cooler operating temperature, crucial for sustained high-performance driving. Included in this Stage 2 package are 5 large SSP® Heavy Duty Frictions Plates, 6 small SSP® Heavy Duty Friction Plates, 6 large SSP® Heavy Duty Precision Ground & Heat Treated Steel Plates, 7 large SSP® Heavy Duty Precision Ground & Heat Treated Steel Plates, and 2 Heavy Duty Spring Steel Retaining Clips. Precision ground spring steel retaining clips are also available separately in various thicknesses to help minimize clutch break-in time. This clutch is compatible with all VW/Audi models from 2003-2015 that utilize the DSG 02E Transmission. After installation, a transmission relearning procedure is required.
