The Sierra 18-9680-7 is a premium synthetic gear lubricant formulated to enhance the longevity of your gears. Its primary function is to significantly reduce friction, thereby optimizing gear life even under demanding operational circumstances. The advanced synthetic formulation ensures superior wear protection, making it ideal for severe operating conditions where standard lubricants may falter. Furthermore, its shear-stable nature and resistance to oxidation guarantee consistent high performance across a broad spectrum of ambient operating temperatures, from extreme cold to intense heat. This gear lube adheres to stringent industry standards, meeting both API GL-5 and MIL-L-210E specifications, ensuring compatibility and reliability. It presents a distinct gold color and is a 75W-90 viscosity grade, suitable for a wide array of marine applications. This offering comes in a substantial 55-gallon barrel (208L), designed for high-volume use. It is also noted to be an OEM interchange for Volvo part number 1141682.
