Sigma 6 Short Shift Kit

The Deisel Geek Sigma 6 short shift kit is engineered to significantly improve the feel of your vehicle's shifter. It replaces stock components with higher-quality materials for a more precise and engaging driving experience. Key to the Sigma 6's enhanced feel are its Perfect Pivot bushings, made from Delrin. These inserts eliminate side-to-side flex in the side-to-side cable end, ensuring that driver input is directly translated to the transmission. The factory cable end body is retained and modified for its ideal application, preserving the slick adjustment function for easy setup. The use of self-lubricating structural plastic in the Dieselgeek Slider further ensures longevity and precision by preventing the degradation common in lesser shifter designs. The Sigma 6 is compatible with a wide range of Volkswagen and Audi models equipped with the specified linkage, including various Golf, GTI, Jetta, Passat, and TT variants. However, it does not fit 1.4 or 1.5 TSI turbo gas cars, MQ500 transmissions (found in TTRS or Tiguan), or Polo/A1/Ibiza/Fabia variants with the MQ350 transmission. Early models (2000-2001) may require an OE VAG cable end from newer cars or an aftermarket aluminum side-to-side cable end.
