Signature Series 550 Transmission

The RevMax Signature Series 550 is a high-performance automatic transmission designed for demanding applications. Each unit is meticulously built to the most stringent tolerances by a single expert technician, and is signed upon completion. This transmission is rated to handle up to 550 horsepower at the rear wheels, making it suitable for performance-oriented Dodge Ram trucks. The build process involves complete disassembly of the entire transmission, with all wearable soft parts being discarded. Casings and housings are thoroughly washed in a 190-degree tank, and hard parts are inspected and cleaned. Cracks or damage to the casing are also checked. Upgraded internal components include a RevMax Patented Direct Oiling Billet Input Shaft, a Billet Stage 5 Triple Disc Torque Converter with a custom stator assembly, and Revmax Proprietary 550 High Capacity Input Clutch Housing. It also features billet OD and UD pressure plates, a reinforced accumulator plate, billet accumulator pistons, a Transgo steel SSV valve, an upgraded TCC switch valve, and a billet valve body channel plate. The transmission utilizes a leak-free bonded separator plate that is 2.5x thicker than OEM, a 4-clutch 2nd clutch pack with GPZ clutches, a billet 2nd clutch piston assembly, and a 4-clutch 4th clutch pack with GPZ clutches and a custom pressure plate. It also includes Red Eagle High Performance and High Energy Low/Reverse clutches, a Revmax High Pressure Pump, a Revmax Billet Towing HD Valve Body, a brand new internal solenoid pack, and an upgraded L/R sprag. The unit comes with a custom-calibrated performance valve body, tested on a computerized dyno, and an extra-deep 4.5-quart cast aluminum pan. This transmission is available with either Revmax Approved Trans Tuning Required or as a Tuneless option. A core charge of $2,500 applies, with options to send the core before or after receiving the order. The warranty is for 2 years unlimited mileage. Please note that trucks with tires larger than 35 inches will not be covered under warranty unless proof of a differential gear change is provided.
