The HPS 827-723WB Silicone Air Intake Kit is a powerful upgrade for the Toyota TRD Performance Air Intake and Filter, designed to enhance performance for the 2016-2023 Toyota Tacoma with the 3.5L V6 engine. This kit specifically replaces the air intake hose with high-heat resistant silicone, meeting or exceeding OE specifications and boasting a maximum temperature rating of 350°F. It includes a washable and reusable HPS Performance Air Filter to improve airflow and filtration. Dyno testing indicates that this air intake system can increase performance by 11.8 horsepower and 15.5 lb-ft of torque at 4000rpm, leading to improved acceleration and throttle response compared to standard TRD components. Installation is straightforward as it retains the TRD air filter housing and requires no modifications. The kit comes complete with HPS 100% stainless steel embossed hose clamps designed for harsh environments. It is crucial to note that this kit is ONLY compatible with Toyota Tacomas equipped with a TRD Performance Upper Airbox.
