The HPS Silicone Air Intake Kit Post MAF Hose (part number 87-68426) is constructed from high-temperature, 4-ply reinforced silicone, designed to replace the restrictive OEM rubber air intake hose found in 2008-2014 Infiniti G37 models with the 3.7L VQ37VHR engine. Engineered to meet or exceed original equipment specifications, this hose boasts a maximum temperature rating of 350°F. It directly replaces the stock post-MAF intake tube, optimizing airflow for improved engine performance. Without requiring any re-tuning, the HPS silicone intake kit has demonstrated dyno-proven performance gains, including an increase of +6.8 whp and +6.4 ft-lbs of torque, along with enhanced throttle response. Beyond performance improvements, this hose serves as a crucial replacement part to rectify common issues such as bad idling and air vacuum leaks, which are often caused by the degradation or failure of the original rubber intake hose. Installation is straightforward, with no modifications needed, and the kit includes HPS Performance industrial-grade 100% stainless steel heavy-duty t-bolt clamps.
