Silicone Charge Pipe

The Vargas Turbo Technologies charge pipe is a high-performance replacement for the restrictive, multi-connection stock charge pipe system on BMW E Series N54/N55 platforms. Constructed from 6-ply, heat-resistant, and wire-reinforced silicone, this pipe is pressure-rated for over 200 psi. Its molded design ensures a precise fit within the engine bay, while the 64mm to 77mm (2.5-inch to 3-inch) diameter transition maintains optimal airflow. The system uses two barbed connections with ridges to provide a secure grip, preventing the pipe from blowing off under boost. Installation is designed for efficiency, typically taking 15 to 30 minutes. The kit includes two CNC adapters for the MAP sensor and methanol injection, one throttle body adapter, two T-bolt clamps, and a pre-installed 1/8 NPT port for methanol. While compatible with all center-mount aftermarket manifolds tested by the manufacturer, specific fitment exclusions apply: this product does not fit BMW Z4 or 5 Series models, and it is not compatible with SUV or other non-335/135 configurations. For N54 applications, the unit offers additional flexibility with options for Turbosmart or HKS blow-off valve (BOV) flanges. It effectively isolates charge air from ambient and engine-related heat soak, contributing to more consistent performance under high-boost conditions.
