Silicone Charge Pipe Kit

The Vargas silicone charge pipes provide a robust solution for the Audi 8V RS3 and 8S TTRS platforms by eliminating the restrictive, multi-connection stock piping. Unlike factory components—where the aluminum hot-side pipe bolts to the engine block and the plastic cold-side pipe bolts to the transmission, both inducing unwanted heat soak—these silicone pipes are heat-resistant and isolate the charge air. This design helps maintain lower intake air temperatures while providing a more durable, pressure-rated alternative. Each pipe is constructed from 6-ply, wire-reinforced silicone and is rated for pressures exceeding 200 psi. The hot-side pipe transitions from 55mm at the turbo outlet to 70mm, while the cold-side pipe transitions from 70mm at the intercooler outlet to 76mm at the throttle body. By reducing the number of connections from four to two per pipe, this configuration significantly decreases the risk of blown-off hoses and boost loss. Installation is straightforward and can typically be completed in 30 to 90 minutes depending on individual experience level.
