It is constructed from a 3-ply fiberglass reinforced silicone material, designed to handle higher temperatures and offer greater flexibility than the original part. This hose resists oil, fuel, and electrochemical degradation, and is tested up to a continuous 250° Fahrenheit operating temperature.

The Silicone Lower PCV Hose is pre-molded to OEM specifications, ensuring a direct fit and a reliable cure for inevitable oil leaks and driveability issues. Constructed from a heavy-duty, 3-ply fiberglass reinforced silicone, this hose is designed to withstand greater temperatures and offer superior flexibility compared to the original plastic component. It actively resists oil, fuel, and electrochemical degradation, and has been tested to handle continuous operating temperatures up to 250° Fahrenheit. This results in greater reliability, less turbulence, and improved flow. Included with the hose are stainless steel smooth band hose clamps for secure installation. The product was designed, engineered, tested, and quality inspected by ECS Tuning's Research and Development team in Wadsworth, Ohio, utilizing advanced technologies like FARO laser scanning and SolidWorks 3D CAD modeling. Installation is the reverse of the OEM hose removal process; consult your service manual for accessibility details. This part is specifically designed for the FSI engine only, which can be identified by an 'FSI' stamp on the 2.0T engine cover (not 'TFSI'). It fits various Audi and Volkswagen models including the A3 8P FWD 2.0T, B7 A4 (FWD and Quattro) 2.0T, TTS MK2 (2006-2013) 2.0T, EOS 2.0T, Golf R 2.0T, Golf V 2.0T, Jetta V 2.0T, and Passat B6 FWD 2.0T, with specific notes for FSI engine compatibility.
