The HPS Performance Silicone Radiator Coolant Hose Kit offers a robust solution for replacing the OEM rubber lower and upper radiator coolant hoses on your 2013-2017 Hyundai Veloster 1.6L Turbo. Engineered with high-temperature, 3-ply reinforced silicone, these hoses are built to withstand extreme under-hood temperatures and high-pressure operating conditions, exceeding OE specifications with a maximum temperature rating of 350°F. It aims to prevent common issues such as coolant leaks and engine overheating that can arise from cracked, damaged, or collapsed stock rubber hoses. Included in the kit are the HPS Performance Reinforced Silicone Hoses and 100% stainless steel, non-perforated embossed hose clamps. While these silicone hoses offer superior heat resistance, it's important to note that they have a higher water permeation rate than standard EPDM rubber. Therefore, regularly checking the coolant level is highly recommended for daily driven vehicles.
