The Elring 705.708 is a sealing compound designed for automotive applications. It is a permanently elastic, silicone-based formula that is resistant to solvents and UV radiation.

This sealing compound comes in a 70ml tube and cures to form silicone upon exposure to air humidity. It adheres well to various materials including standard metals, cast iron, plastics (excluding PE, PP, and PTFE), and glass.

This sealing substance is specifically formulated for automotive use and is known for its high temperature resistance, capable of withstanding up to 315 °C (-60 °C to 315 °C range). Formulated with a silicone base and utilizing an acetic curing process, the Dirko™ HT red exhibits excellent adhesion to a wide range of substrates, including common metals, cast iron, plastics (with the exception of PE, PP, and PTFE), and glass. Its permanently elastic nature and resistance to solvents and UV radiation make it a durable sealing solution. This product comes conveniently packaged in a 70 ml tube, featuring a nozzle for precise application. The compound cures upon reaction with ambient air humidity, transforming into a resilient silicone seal. Elring's Dirko™ HT red is a versatile sealing compound, suitable for a broad spectrum of applications.
