Description

The Whoosh WM-FST-SSD is a silicone symposer delete kit designed specifically for the 2014 and newer Ford Fiesta ST models. This kit is constructed from multilayer, durable silicone, ensuring longevity and performance similar to other Whoosh brand silicone products. The primary function of this SSD kit is to eliminate the artificial sound being piped into the vehicle's cabin by the factory sound symposer. By removing this component, drivers can achieve a more natural engine sound. Additionally, the kit helps to seal any potential boost leaks that the OEM symposer system might introduce, especially when operating at boost levels exceeding stock specifications. The process involves removing the OEM sound symposer components (labeled #3 & #4) and the associated accordion hose (labeled #1). The remaining accordion hose can then be disconnected at the firewall behind the battery. This modification is fully reversible, allowing a return to stock configuration if desired. For assistance with installation, direct contact with Whoosh Motorsports is recommended. This product ships free within the continental USA.
