Silicone Turbo Inlet V2

The COBB Tuning Silicone Turbo Inlet V2 is a direct replacement for the factory rubber turbo inlet hose on 2008-2021 Subaru STI models. Unlike the restrictive and prone-to-collapse factory hose, this V2 inlet is constructed from black 6-ply silicone with steel wire reinforcement. This design ensures it rejects high engine bay temperatures, keeps intake air closer to ambient, and prevents hose collapse under vacuum at peak demand, while allowing for necessary flex between the engine and intake. The V2 features several design updates aimed at simplifying installation. Machined billet aluminum adapters for the Post-MAF hose and BPV return provide a more secure connection. A plug-and-play adapter ensures OEM-level integration for the PCV connection. Additionally, revised fittings offer a cleaner installation without protruding into the inlet airway, and the overall inlet tube path has been optimized for improved fitment around TGV housings. Utilizing this COBB Turbo Inlet V2 will replace the factory 'accordion-style' hose, which can cause intake tract turbulence. By increasing the efficiency of the inlet, the engine can breathe more easily, leading to reduced stress, decreased turbo spool time, and improved throttle response and acceleration. This part has a 2.4" inlet diameter and is designed for turbochargers with that specification. This inlet requires tuning changes. COBB offers Off-The-Shelf (OTS) Map support for some vehicles, and users can check for available maps on the COBB website. The product is 50 State legal, holding California Air Resources Board (CARB) Executive Order numbers D-660-21 and D-660-48. All necessary installation hardware is included.
