The Brisk Silver Racing RR12S spark plug is engineered for optimal performance, particularly with high-octane fuels and alternative fuel mixtures like CNG, LPG, E85, and race fuels. Its design utilizes a smaller diameter silver core and an open spark hook-type earth electrode, which enhances ignition of fuel mixtures. Silver's superior thermal and electrical conductivity allows for faster heat dissipation, resulting in a lower spark plug temperature and a more powerful spark. This leads to improved flame front speed and a smoother, higher RPM range. The plug features a 14mm thread diameter, a 25mm (1-inch) thread reach, a 16mm (5/8-inch) hexagon, and a tapered seat. It includes a resistor and has a heat range of 12. The 1.5mm silver wire center electrode contributes to its performance capabilities. Brisk indicates a service life of 30,000 km or 18,000 miles, or 50 hours of racing. This spark plug is suitable for tuned and race engines, alternative fuel vehicles, and older vehicles with weaker ignition systems or oil consumption issues. It is also recommended for high RPM race engines and applications using high-octane or hard ignition fuels, including methanol, ethanol, CNG, LPG, Propane, E85 blend, Alcohol, LNG, Race Fuels, Nitro, and Nitrous. The RR12S is listed as a popular application for 2011-20 Ford Mustang 5.0, 2011 Chevy Camaro V6, and GEN 3 HEMI Engines (5.7L, 6.1L) in Dodge SRT 4, SRT 8, HEMI, and Chrysler 300 models.
