The Brisk Racing RR14YS Silver Racing spark plug is engineered for high-performance applications. It utilizes a smaller diameter silver core and a conventional open spark hook type earth electrode, which provides outstanding performance in igniting high octane fuel mixtures, including alternative fuels like CNG, LPG, Propane, E85 blend, Alcohol, LNG, Race Fuels, and Nitro. Silver is chosen for its superior heat dissipation, leading to lower spark plug temperatures and a more powerful spark. This results in a faster and better flame front propagation, ultimately yielding a smoother, higher RPM range in engines. The RR14YS is compatible with most aftermarket and OEM ignition systems, from basic coil and distributor setups to modern electronic and direct ignition systems found in performance engines. Key specifications include a 14mm thread diameter, 25mm (1") thread reach, 16mm (5/8") hexagon, and a tapered seat. It has a heat range of -14 and features a 1.5 mm silver wire center electrode. The service life is rated for 30,000 km or 18,000 miles, and 50 hours of racing.
