The SYLVANIA 9006 SilverStar ULTRA halogen headlight bulb is engineered to provide superior illumination for your vehicle. It features a superior coil design and a proprietary halogen gas mixture to produce SYLVANIA's brightest downroad halogen headlight. The patented tri-band blue coating, combined with cobalt blue, results in a whiter light for enhanced contrast and improved object visibility, including street signs and road hazards. This "ultra-performance" bulb offers "ultra night vision" by increasing downroad reach, whiteness, and sidelight visibility. Designed as a direct replacement for factory bulbs, installation is straightforward and typically requires no vehicle modification. However, a "PRO TIP" advises against touching the glass with bare hands during installation; gloves or a clean shop towel should be used to prevent the transfer of oils. The bulbs are compliant with DOT regulations and SAE standards, ensuring safe on-road use and preventing dangerous glare when properly installed.
