Description

The Silvolite 3470HC.STD is a set of eight hypereutectic aluminum pistons designed for a 4.000 in. bore and stock engine stroke. These pistons feature a dish style with four valve reliefs, a +14.50cc piston head volume, and a 1.540 in. compression height.

They are constructed from a high-silicon aluminum alloy for increased strength, scuff resistance, and seizure resistance. The pistons have improved groove wear, resist crown cracking, and feature reinforced top lands with diamond-finished skirts. The wrist pin is included, with a 0.927 in. diameter, and the ring grooves accommodate 1.50mm x 1.50mm x 3.00mm rings. A coated skirt is also a feature of these pistons.
