Single 10" Amplified Bass Enclosure

The PowerBass PS-AWB101 is a single 10-inch amplified bass enclosure engineered to deliver powerful, low-frequency audio for your car's sound system. PowerBass engineers designed this unit with a focus on fitting the woofer to the enclosure, resulting in deeper, tighter bass that can handle more power. The enclosure is a "bass reflex" design, featuring a slotted port tuned to a low frequency for impactful bass. At its core is a 175-watt RMS Class A/B amplifier, efficiently powered by a PWM MOSFET supply. The enclosure features a 10-inch injection-molded polypropylene cone woofer with a 2-inch BASV voice coil former and a large roll butyl rubber surround for durability and performance. For system integration, it accepts both high-level (speaker) and low-level (RCA) inputs, and includes an auto turn-on feature when using speaker-level inputs, as well as a soft delay circuit for both turn-on and turn-off. This amplified enclosure offers extensive control over your bass frequencies. It includes a variable low-pass electronic crossover adjustable from 50Hz to 200Hz, a variable 12dB bass boost EQ at 45Hz, and a variable gain control. Protection circuitry is built-in to safeguard against impedance over-load, speaker short circuits, and thermal overheating. For added convenience, a wired remote gain control and mounting hardware are included.
