Single 4-Pot Caliper Handbrake Kit

This advanced system utilizes a single 4-pot caliper, ingeniously separating function with two pots dedicated to the primary foot brake and two pots for the handbrake, each operating on its own independent system. Constructed for superior durability and performance, the lightweight forged one-piece calipers are machined from a solid billet of aerospace-quality aluminum. This monolithic construction eliminates weak points often found in cast or welded calipers, preventing fractures, warpage, and failure over time. The opposed-piston design guarantees consistent brake pad grip and wear on both sides of the rotor. High-temperature seals, titanium brake pad retainer clips, and stainless-steel brake pad wear plates are standard features. The kit includes two-piece rotors, specifically 330mm in diameter and 32mm thick, designed for lightweight, fade-free performance and effective grip. The rotors are constructed with lightweight center sections made from 6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum, reducing rotational mass for quicker wheel response and improved braking. This two-piece design also allows the outer rotor to expand and contract independently, significantly reducing the chances of warping due to heat buildup. Cross-drilled rotors are recommended for daily driven vehicles as they run cooler, while slotted rotors are suggested for track-focused applications to enhance bite and continuously clean the pad surface. Included are SC5 Street Pads, which offer optimal braking performance under street and occasional track conditions, reducing dust and noise. An upgrade to RCI Race Pads is available for those requiring maximum stopping power under extreme track conditions, though they are not recommended for street use. The system also features a polished titanium handbrake cylinder and lever for enhanced feel and control, CNC machined carbon steel caliper brackets for direct bolt-on installation, and D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines that provide a firmer pedal response by eliminating line expansion under pressure. Numerous custom caliper color options and center bell upgrades are available to personalize the setup.
