The Brian Tooley Racing BTR91120-16 is a single beehive valve spring set designed for Gen V LT engines. These springs are a direct drop-in replacement for stock valve springs and are intended for use with stock retainers and locks.

The Brian Tooley Racing BTR91120-16 valve springs are engineered as a direct, drop-in replacement for the stock components in Gen V LT V8 engines. Specifically designed for L83, L84, L86, L87, L8T, and LT1 applications, these single beehive springs are intended to be used with the factory retainers and locks, simplifying installation. These springs offer a maximum valve lift of 0.550 inches. They provide 95 lbs of pressure at 1.870 inches and 300 lbs of pressure at 1.330 inches. The coil bind height is 1.280 inches, with a spring rate of 372 lbs/in and a bind pressure of 386 lbs. Brian Tooley Racing advises against using these single wire beehive or conical springs with roller rockers due to potential valve train instability caused by the added mass. Additionally, using a higher ratio rocker arm could lead to coil bind issues. If you plan to use roller rockers with a specific valvetrain combination, it is recommended to contact their sales team for guidance.
