Description

The AXM-150 Single Channel Ignition Module from AMP EFI is the single-channel variant of the company's QuadSpark module. It is specifically engineered to control a single high-current ignition coil using a 5V logic-level ignition output from an ECU. This design bypasses the OEM ignition module, granting the engine control unit complete command over dwell and spark duration. This module is an excellent choice for users of the MS3Pro Mini who are operating with a single, non-smart ignition coil in conjunction with a distributor-based ignition system. Its primary application is in single-coil distributor setups where direct ECU control over ignition timing is desired. Technical details for installation include: Pins 1 and/or 4 are for ground connection (typically to the cylinder head), Pin 2 accepts the logic ignition signal from the ECU (identified as the Yellow Spark A wire on the MS3Pro), and Pin 3 connects to the coil's negative terminal.
