Hull of the box constructed of .080 diamond treadplate aluminum. Bottom of the box constructed of .125 smooth aluminum, welded with full arc welds. Full-size stainless steel paddle latches recessed and synchronized for opening/locking from either side (two keys included). Lid equipped with 2 gas pressure shocks for one-hand opening, constructed of .080 diamond treadplate aluminum with .090 smooth aluminum inner stiffener. Lid attached to hull with four 4" aluminum butt hinges with 1/4" hinge pins, welded to box and lid. Includes sliding tray, 19-1/4" x 14-3/4" x 2-1/4", with white polyester powder coat finish and 4 adjustable dividers. Tray stops keep tray centered. Ribbed D-Bulb seal in lid. Black boxes undergo a five-stage metal pretreatment anti-corrosion system and finished with black polyester powder coat. Mounting hardware is an extruded aluminum clamp, eliminating drilling through the pickup bed rail; plastic isolator prevents scratching paint and galvanic corrosion.
