SINGLE LID STEEL CHEST BOX W/OFFSET WHT F/FULLSIZE

The RKI M58U-1NM is a chest-style truck tool box from the M-Series, constructed from 14-gauge cold-rolled steel for the hull, bottom, and lid. The bottom is fully welded, and the lid features an inner steel stiffener. All welds are full arc welds. It includes full-size, recessed stainless steel paddle latches, synchronized for opening/locking from either side (two keys included). Two spring-type lid props assist opening/closing. The lid is secured by two 4-inch stainless steel butt hinges, welded to the box and lid. An offset in the rear of the lid allows for flush mounting to the front of the pickup box. The lower front face is diagonally tapered to accommodate wheel wells on short bed trucks. A ribbed D-Bulb seal in the lid provides a tight seal against the box opening. The box undergoes a five-stage metal pretreatment anti-corrosion protection system and is finished with a durable white polyester powder coat. Mounting hardware and instructions are included. An optional sliding tray (M Optional) can be specified.
