Single Mass Flywheel Conversion Kit

The Valeo Clutch & Flywheel Conversion Kit provides a comprehensive solution for replacing your vehicle's dual-mass flywheel with a simpler, single-mass design. This kit is engineered as an OEM alternative to expensive factory flywheels, aiming to maintain OEM levels of drivability and operation. It features Valeo's enhanced F510 friction material, composed of an organic compound with a higher copper content for increased durability. The conversion kit includes a solid steel flywheel, clutch disc, pressure plate, throw-out bearing, flywheel mounting bolts, pressure plate mounting screws, and an alignment tool. This product is TUV approved and comes with a two-year warranty. It is designed to replace original BMW part numbers 21211223593 (flywheel) and 21211223546 (clutch kit). Special application notes indicate that this kit is not for early 325e/528e cars equipped with crank/reference sensors in the transmission bellhousing. While the elimination of the dual-mass flywheel may result in more noticeable transmission rattle noises, especially in convertibles, it also offers a slight improvement in clutch feel and operation. Signs of a failed dual-mass flywheel, such as material buildup, damage, excessive play, or grease leakage, necessitate replacement. This kit is specifically designed for the following BMW fitments: E30 325 (1987), E36 323i/325i (1992-1999), E28 528e (1987-1988), and E34 525i (1991-1995). It is also legal for use in the Spec 3 racing class for E36 325i.
