The Racing Beat 11473 is a single sheave main pulley designed for rotary engines. It reduces the water pump/alternator drive ratio to help prevent water pump cavitation and alternator damage at high RPMs. The pulley also decreases rotating inertia and accessory power loss.

Precision-machined from billet aluminum alloy, this pulley features a hard anodized surface for superior longevity and abrasion resistance. It includes engraved timing marks at 0 degrees (TDC), 12.5 degrees BTC, and 25 degrees BTC.

The Racing Beat 11473 is a single sheave main pulley engineered for rotary engines, specifically designed to mitigate issues at extreme RPMs. By substantially reducing the water pump and alternator drive ratio, it helps prevent water pump cavitation and potential alternator damage that can occur during high-revving conditions. Additionally, this aluminum pulley, weighing only 0.5 lbs, contributes to reducing the engine's overall rotating inertia and the parasitic power loss typically drawn by accessories. Crafted with precision from billet aluminum alloy, the Racing Beat 11473 pulley undergoes a hard anodized surface treatment. This finish provides exceptional longevity and superior abrasion resistance compared to standard anodizing processes, ensuring durability in demanding applications. The pulley is also pre-marked with engraved timing indicators at 0 degrees (TDC), 12.5 degrees BTC, and 25 degrees BTC for easier installation and tuning. Furthermore, installation on 1987-91 Turbo II engines is cautioned against unless the engine has been significantly modified to increase its RPM range. Turbo II engines characteristically produce peak power at lower RPMs compared to naturally aspirated variants, potentially leading to suboptimal performance with this underdrive pulley.
