Description

The Stifflers transmission crossmember is a direct-fit component engineered for 1982-1993 Ford Mustangs and Mercury Capris, enabling upgrades to C4, Power Glide, TH-350, or Top Loader transmissions. Its unique single-tube design provides superior stiffness and strength compared to OEM versions, while its adjustable mounting sleeves and repositionable spacers offer versatile application coverage. For racing applications, these bushings can be replaced with optional solid bushings. The design also offers increased exhaust clearance over OEM styles and is a direct fit for 4.5-inch wide crossmember mounts. Notes: Power Glide and TH-350 transmissions require additional spacing due to a shorter mounting pad height. For these applications, the Stifflers adapter (TM-M02) and transmission mount (300-ES31108G) are necessary.
