The Rotary-Works Single Turbo Manifold Downpipe Intercooler Kit is engineered for 1978-1985 Mazda RX-7 SA/FB Series 1, 2, and 3 chassis, specifically when fitted with an FC or FD 13B Turbo Motor swap. This kit facilitates a transition from the stock twin-turbo configuration to a single top-mount setup, aiming to dramatically increase performance. It features an 11-gauge thick wall manifold with a T4 flange and a 60mm V-band wastegate flange, paired with a T70 turbo capable of supporting up to 500 HP. The kit includes a 60mm V-band wastegate and a 3-inch stainless steel downpipe that terminates near the transmission, requiring custom fabrication or modification for the remainder of the exhaust system. The intercooler measures 25x12x3 inches overall with 3-inch inlet and outlet ports, and the accompanying 3-inch aluminum piping kit comes with necessary hoses and a 50mm blow-off valve. A turbo oil line and fitting kit are also supplied. This kit is intended for off-road or track use only and is not street legal. Significant modifications are required for installation, including drilling two 3.25-3.5 inch holes on each side of the radiator support for intercooler piping. Installation instructions are not provided, indicating this product is for advanced users. Furthermore, a re-tune of the vehicle's ECU is necessary due to the change in turbo setup. It is important to note that this kit is developed based on left-hand-drive chassis; fitment and potential interference with the steering shaft on right-hand-drive chassis have not been tested.
