Single Turbo System 5.3L

The On 3 Performance single turbo system is engineered as a direct bolt-on upgrade for 2014-2018 Chevy/GMC Silverado and Sierra 1500 trucks equipped with the 5.3L engine. This system is touted as the ultimate bolt-on power enhancement for your truck, capable of delivering an estimated ~250rwhp+ increase. Beyond raw power, the turbo system enhances drivability by providing responsive boost and improved mid-range torque, making towing, street driving, and merging onto highways more effortless. The turbo manifold is a divided design, preventing bank-to-bank merging for more accurate monitoring during tuning. The hot side features a custom-fabricated cast stainless steel turbo manifold designed to clear 4x4 transfer cases and driveshafts. It utilizes a Gen. 2 Cast Stainless header with increased material thickness for durability. Standard kits include an On 3 Performance 70mm journal bearing turbo, with options for larger turbos, including billet wheel upgrades for quicker spool and enhanced performance, and ceramic ball bearing variants for towing. The downpipe is constructed from 304 stainless steel, stepping from 3.0" to 3.5" with a 16-gauge wall thickness. The cold side uses 3.0" 304 aluminum tubing to manage heat and reduce weight, featuring bead-rolled tubing and stainless t-bolt clamps for secure connections. The system includes a custom-designed Air-to-Air intercooler core, with options for a standard 3.5" core supporting up to 600rwhp or a larger Race Core that fills the entire grill (requiring minor trimming). The turbocharger oil drain system can be configured with an optional electric pump to return oil via the oil fill cap, avoiding the need to drill the oil pan, which is particularly recommended for 4x4 applications. Fuel system upgrades may be necessary if exceeding 500-550rwhp or running E85 fuel.
