The Eagle Specialty Products SIR5090FP is a set of I-beam connecting rods designed for performance applications. Forged from 5140 steel, these rods offer enhanced strength and reliability. They feature a press-fit wrist pin style and are sold as a set of eight. The connecting rods are weight-matched to within two grams and come with ARP 12-point 3/8-inch 8740 chromoly steel rod bolts.

The Eagle Specialty Products SIR5090FP connecting rods are engineered to be an upgrade from stock rods, offering superior strength and reliability for performance engines. Constructed from forged 5140 steel, these I-beam rods are designed to handle demanding conditions. Each rod features a 5.090-inch center-to-center length and a press-fit wrist pin design with a 0.912-inch pin end bore. The big end bore diameter is 2.2394 inches, with a rod journal diameter of 2.123 inches. These rods are not clearanced for stroker applications. Included with the connecting rods are ARP 3/8-inch 8740 chromoly steel 12-point cap screws, rated at 160,000 psi tensile strength. The set includes eight rods, all weight-matched to within two grams to ensure balanced rotating assembly performance. They are shot-peened for stress relief and come with a claimed horsepower rating of 500 hp and an RPM rating of 6,000 rpm.
