The Eagle SIR6123CB I-beam connecting rods are engineered for performance applications in Small Block Mopar engines. Constructed from robust forged 5140 steel, these rods offer a significant strength improvement over many Original Equipment (OE) rods, making them a budget-friendly yet reliable alternative. Each rod in the set of 8 measures 6.123 inches in length and features 3/8 inch cap screws and ARP 8740 bolts. These ARP bolts ensure superior cap alignment and a secure fit, crucial for high-stress environments. The rods are weight-matched for consistent performance and balance, suitable for both street and strip use. They are designed to provide an approximate power rating of 500hp for small block applications. It is important to note that these Eagle SIR rods are not for use in pollution-controlled vehicles. Professional installation by a qualified technician is recommended to ensure proper fitment and optimal performance. While designed to offer adequate cam clearance in Chevy small block applications, it is always best to confirm at least .050" clearance between the cam and the connecting rod.
