The Eagle Specialty Products SIR6135B is a set of I-beam connecting rods. They are forged from 5140 steel and feature a bushed, floating wrist pin design. These rods are sold as a set of 8 and include ARP 7/16 in. 8740 chromoly steel connecting rod bolts.

The Eagle Specialty Products SIR6135B connecting rods offer an upgrade from reconditioning stock rods, providing enhanced strength and reliability. Forged from robust 5140 steel, these I-beam rods are designed to handle demanding engine conditions. These connecting rods feature a bushed pin model and a floating wrist pin style, with a center-to-center length of 6.135 inches. The big end bore diameter is 2.3250 inches, and the rod journal diameter is 2.200 inches. Each rod is magnafluxed and shot-peened to relieve stress, and they are weight-matched to within two grams for a balanced rotating assembly. The big end sizing is precisely controlled by in-house CNC equipment. Included with these connecting rods are ARP 7/16-inch 8740 chromoly steel bolts, featuring a 12-point head style and a tensile strength of 160,000 psi. The rods are rated for up to 700 hp and 7,500 rpm, making them suitable for high-performance applications. Note that these rods are not clearanced for stroker applications.
